Curiously very like a typical 1930s greenbelt development in Britain...was born in one of those. The houses further up the road were somewhat lacking in finish...due to shortage of materials .. (cardboard false ceilings and tinier kitchens ...) My mother referred to them as ' jerry-built' which my seven year old self misunderstood as ' built by Germans' ...lol

It's also very much like the area of Dallas where I've now lived for many years. Oak Cliff is a true hodgepodge of cultures, styles, economic status and housing design. And I absolutely love it... 😉
